LOVE ME ENOUGH TO ACCEPT THE CHANGES IN OUR LIVES, OR LOVE ME ENOUGH TO MAKE THE CHANGES IN OUR LIVES.
I love this message. When i first thought of it, I will admit, I had taken it a different way then I do now as the context in my situation was different. That is the beauity of a strong message, it can mean many different things, over time.
Today I take this as love me, myself and I. Do I love myself enough to make the changes in my life that are good for me? Love me enough to be true to myself, to be who I want to be, to make it know to others, that this IS THE REAL ME. No more conforming, no more hiding, no more waiting, no more 'just testing the waters'. It's time to stand in my own life, on my own two feet. I am a loving human being who wants to help others heal thier lives.
When we present ourselves with a situation, we need to ask just that. DO I love myself enough to accept this change, or make this change? We can ask ourselves this with a relationship move, travel, a job, ask this when we are starting to accept Jesus into our lives, ask if we are wanting to get healthy.
